Some products, similar to the Key Kop, use lighter, smaller cable, with no protection for the nylon coating. They also have bodies made of plastic or zinc die castings.
Other products offer only one type of lock. By offering different styles, the Key Kop may be provided with a lock matching the level of security desired. Key Kops may be keyed differently, keyed alike or keyed in groups to your order.

Key Kops Have Colored Protective Polyurethane Boots
These boots can be laser cut with numbers, logos or names for an additional charge.

Key Kop Cables are measured unlocked and extended.
NOTE: One end of the cable is fixed. They cannot be replaced in the field, nor interchanged.
Shackles come in five sizes, and are interchangeable to suit your needs.
Shackles may be purchased separately. Shackles are measured by their length or diameter.

Key Kop 1 – Cable
The cable style is a 7 over 7 stainless steel aircraft cable, nylon coated, and then covered with a stainless steel cover to offer protection from abrasion and to minimize kinking of the cable. One end unlocks, while the other end is captive, preventing keys being dumped while being serviced. Cable terminals are recessed within the body to minimize break points. The bodies are machined from solid aircraft grade aluminum bar, and are covered by colored polyurethane boots, available in various colors, to enable a way to code groups of keys to specific functions, and offers some protection for the body of the unit. Available with a choice of locks and in several lengths.

Key Kop 2 – Shackle
The shackle style uses a 5/32nd” Stainless Steel rod formed into a 4″ circle, 2-1/2″ circle or into loops that are 1-1/2″, 3″, 5″ long and 1-1/4″ wide. The shackle withdraws completely from the body, so keys may be removed from either end. Shackles are interchangeable and shackles may be bought separately for maximum flexibility in arranging sets to order.

LOCKS
Below are the locks that are available for the Key Kop locking key rings.
We may have other locks available for different applications and industries.
No other locking key ring offers a greater selection of locks from which to choose. Our solid metal housing offers greater security than plastic bodied units.
Tubular Lock – Inexpensive, durable tubular style keys & locks.
**An excellent choice for minimal security needs**
Duo Lock– A higher security lock, using double bitted non-symmetrical cut keys. Restricted key path means greater security against unauthorized duplicates.
Medeco Lock – Highest security lock available. Restricted key codes, and pick resistant features make this the most secure lock you can buy. (Master Keying available – special order.)
Key Kops may be ordered keyed differently, keyed alike in groups, or keyed alike. Keep in mind that keys are sold separately.
Our cables are sheathed for longer service and greater protection from damage. Key Kops are warrantied for one year against defects in material and workmanship. SEE WARRANTY

BELT CLIPS
These strong welded, powder coated steel clips require a positive unlocking action to remove the key ring from the operator’s belt. The operator’s belt is passed through the clip.

Properly anchored to a floor or wall, or under a counter, this heavy gauge welded steel powder coated case receives a box locked into place on all four sides, presenting a formidable but affordable solution to personal security.
The unit is available with a choice of two locks, according to the level of security desired: TriGard or Medeco.
Outer shell dimensions are 4 3/8ths inches by 4 3/8ths inches by 8 1/2 inches long. The inner tray is 3 1/4 H by 3 1/2 wide by 63/4 long. Two keys with each box. Multiple units available keyed alike, or keyed differently.
